Really? What statistics? Did you read Message #1328853? If the guns make people safer from criminals, why there are more murders in NY than in London (3 times) while both cities are similar in size and NY is heavily armed compared to London (or that is what I would think, did not find stats on that thou)

Now, I just realized that the article was old, and the rates are much different now (1/2 instead on 1/3), so was it that Guns were given to all NY inhabitants?
