>>>Think about what could have happened when both you and the criminals had a weapon and were willing to use it.
>>>Think about what would happen if the criminal had a gun and was willing to use it, and you didn't. I'll send a condolence card.

>>The chance that I'd win the lotery is many times higher up here. Maybe one or two times a year suchs a situation occurs up here. Only 60 gun deaths (mostly criminals shooting other criminals) a year on a population of 16 million. I'd take my chances. The chance of accidents happening with my gun are far higher.

>>>What would you think would be the outcome if everyone who is being robbed would have carried a gun?
>>>I think there would be a whole lot less robberies.

>>With 1% of the US population imprisoned and being far more violent than any other western country, I think your plain wrong.

>You're welcome to your opinion, even if it's wrong. Your opinions are unsubstantiated and do not at all reflect the data that the US Bureau of Labor and Statistics maintains on guns.

Ok. what is unsubstanciated?
1 % of the US population is improsoned?
The US being a far more violent society than other western countries ?

>Again, in a society where citizens are allowed to excersize their right to defend themselves, crime rates are lower.

Crime rates are far lower in all other western countries where they do have gun control.
