Tore, if one side chooses to withhold their side of the story, they can't complain that people have not seen their side of the story. And hinting about hidden justifications seems to suggest that "two wrongs can make a right" which we all know is not true.
Denis asked me if I'm proud of myself for starting a thread involving the Ks. All I can say is that the Ks *did* do well to donate these licenses. On a previous occasion their behavior seemed far less gracious and perhaps it is fair for them to be reminded, but only if people give fair weight to the other stuff they are doing. JMHO.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
