I want to be able to highlight the FIRST cell in the CURRENT row in a grid in yellow, whether the focus is on the grid, or on another control. Furthermore, I want that cell to be highlighted in yellow when I click on that cell, or move to the cell with the tab or arrow keys. I've noticed that when I move to a cell with the keys, the cell appears "selected" (and that colour I can change), but when I click on the cell with the mouse, the cell is not "selected", unless I specifically select text. I've tried the trick of putting code in the GotFocus method to select all the text, but this does not work for a textbox in a grid (it does for a texbox outside of a grid).

This is two questions, I know - one regarding DynamicBackColor and one regarding selected text, but I need help with both to make the grid do what I want.

Thanks in advance
