John, you stake out such conflicting and changing positions on this patriotism BS that its beyond tiresome. You make the reality-free assertion that Obama brought this up without anyone questioning his patriotism, but later concede the obvious. You then make an equally absurd claim about peoples' patriotic 'insecurities' based on this conceded point. You state that you'd be extremely bent if someone questioned my patriotism, yet in this case you have no qualms about giving a pass to people who do just that and instead take aim at the person who's the target of the smears. You attempt to downplay how effective the smears have been, but you echo the very same smear material when you post stuff like:

Its hard to take you seriously when you're off in the weeds like that. Frankly, i find it hard to take anyone seriously when they prattle on with their own opinions as to what they believe to be other people's attitudes & 'insecurities' about their own sense of patriotism.
