I encountered it with my custom event code being triggered.

I was able to demonstrate that it was occurring by creating a sample form with a disabled grid and using the debugger event logging.

I've already modified my code so that it checks whether the grid is disabled; was simply checking to see if I had a misunderstanding.

So, a "foible", eh?
