I'm opposed to nuclear weapons. I think the damage they can do is well beyond any benefit they might bring.

I'm generally opposed to nuclear power, but more open to arguments for it now than I've ever been before. That's because my left-wing, physicist son has come to the conclusion that we need to mix some nuclear power in if we have any hope of dealing with global warming. So I'm listening on this issue again, after having felt it was a closed issue for a long time.
