Hi Tamar,
>>>>And, yes, I do think he's the Manchurian Candidate and last I looked I am entitled to an opinion.
>>>
>>>Well, regardless of whether the GOP or the mainstream media are questioning his patriotism, you certainly are, with that accusation. The Manchurian Candidate was brainwashed into being a Communist assassin. By calling him, you're saying that he's been brainwashed and really represents the other side (whatever that is, in this day and age).
>>>
>>
>>I forgot to respond to this part in my earlier post. Yes, I do question his patriotism. He's an empty suit with no relevant experience and radical ties. If his BS appeals to you, fine, but I tend to judge my presidential candidates a bit more solidly. It seems to me you want a liberal President so badly you gloss over the weaknesses in the candidate.

>I don't see how your evaluation of Obama equates to unpatriotic. It's fine for you to say you think there's no substance there. I disagree, but so what. But how does the lack of substance you perceive make him unpatriotic?
>
It doesn't, directly. But his lack of continuity on issues indicates that he puts his own election as more important than the welfare of the nation. Now, to be fair, this is not isolated to Obama.
