>I agree, and generally design my applications the other way around. I match my forms to the current user settings. There may be a valid reason for doing this though besides the customer requesting it (argh!). Flashing the Title bar to get the user's attention when the app is minimized is a somewhat common in MS applications for example.
I tend to be somewhat unfriendly to users.....I try to ensure that my colorsource is 0 (Objects color properties) et al. There is nothing worse than having a complex form get blown away (become difficult to use) by the magenta and cyan with red text usedrs ;-)
