This deal has not been finalized. Budweiser, which is heavily controlled by the Busch family, is fighting the takeover attempt. Even though InBev is offering way above market price, the family doesn't want to give up control. Expect shareholder lawsuits if they succeed in fighting off InBev.

Budweiser is big in St. Louis but I don't consider them an American landmark. It's just beer, and not even very good beer. It's the perfect example of marketing being more important than quality.
