I used it for batch printing a while ago. I aded code similar to http://www.berezniker.com/content/pages/visual-foxpro/enumerating-jobs-print-queue to make sure that previous print job has finished. I do not remember exactly why I was doing that.
Now we are using Acrobat (full version) automation to do batch printing.
