And the "cut your ears to patch your butt" balancing of... privatized gov't businesses where the profits were private for years, and now losses are socialized, like in the worst version of socialism. Which was actually one of the major reasons (no matter what they say on armament outspending) why these systems failed - they took from the productive and gave to spenders and con men, in the name of solidarity and equal bellies. Except this here and now is at least twice the theft.
