Jim,

I currently use it in 5.0 and have used it in 2.6. I haven't had any problems and seems to very reliable. One note there is a problem with compression programs and copy file conditions on NT. The file cache grows without restriction and can cause a out of physical RAM situation if the data to compress is large enough. Known problem in TechNet.
