Very well said. too bad the people who whine the loudest about the atrocities are the ones who will be first to condemn the US if we took action to stop them.
As far as Betancourt's rescue, I'm wondering if the real story will come out.
Brilliant rescue sounds great.
The idea that terrorists with decades of experience would drop their hostages off at a helicopter so a relief agency could give them a ride to another terrorist camp a hundred miles away is absurd. I guess that's a good cover story for a ransom being paid though.
