At home, I use Avast for a few years and it works fine for me. About a year ago I switched to AVG 7 free to check it out. I had to switch back to Avast after AVG 8 came out very bloated.

At work I'm not responsible for the network/PCs but our company uses Trend Micro and I'm not aware about any problems with it.
