You're right. I hadn't noticed it, but that table in the list appeared when I put the function used by the index in the folder containing the dbf's.
This was a strange error. The field is numeric and all the values are zero. I replaced all the fields with 0 from the command window and the error disappeared. This field was added to the table recently.

Yes and I got a message telling me that the table does not exist.
