>>>I don't often agree with Krauthammer but it's important to understand that he is a columnist, not a reporter. As such he is expected to have opinions and a point of view. Columnists are not expected to be impartial. We have conservative columnists and liberal ones. (And sometimes it seems like that's the only ones we have).

I have been thinking about how things changed in the way we receive information nowdays;
Like in that pop song from 80ies
'....Video killed the radio star ...'

Today with this crazy ritam of life, and Internet all over, I wander how many people actually get to read serious
political articles. I used to folow up weekly/monthly printed magazines (in serbian/croatian) since I was tenager, but since some
time now I simply cannot keep up. So you get to consume this rubbish 'bullet news', watch some TV show here and there and that is it. I wander if this is only me being generaly overworked, or it is kind of a trend.

Will internet 'kill' printed magazines like 'Time' , 'Economist' etc turning them all effectively into 'Webazines' ?
Only time I ever get the chance to actually have one in my hand, is if I am stuck at some airport or long plane flight.
I just hate reading articles from screen! It is just not the same experience / frame of mind. Nothing can replace that experience of feeling smell of freshly printed weekly magazines, morning coffe, and of course - having time to read it in peace & quiet :)

set rant off

Time for vaccation I guess :)
Cheers
