Nope. You cannot carry a loaded gun in a car. The weapon and the ammo must be stored seperatly. Which make it useless for defense.

And wrong again. In California you must apply for a Concealed Carry permit, which darn near takes an act of God to get. And unless you have a specific reason for needing to carry a concealed gun, you aint gonna get one.

And, by the way, I own 3 guns. And I don't have a permit. You don't need a permit. You simply need to fill out the registration form, wait 10 days, and it's yours.

So, considering the criminal carries his gun to a crime loaded and concealed, and a law abiding citizen cannot carry it the same way, it sure does seem like the gonverment has taken away rights to defend themselves.
