>>Nope. You cannot carry a loaded gun in a car. The weapon and the ammo must be stored seperatly. Which make it useless for defense.

>>And wrong again. In California you must apply for a Concealed Carry permit, which darn near takes an act of God to get. And unless you have a specific reason for needing to carry a concealed gun, you aint gonna get one.

>Huh? I said you need a permit. When you have a permit, you are allowed to carry a concealed weapon. So where was I 'wrong again'?

>>And, by the way, I own 3 guns. And I don't have a permit. You don't need a permit. You simply need to fill out the registration form, wait 10 days, and it's yours.

>>>Now if you're saying the government requiring permits and background checks is 'taking away the person's rights', then ok, but I think that's kind of stretching it.

>>So, considering the criminal carries his gun to a crime loaded and concealed, and a law abiding citizen cannot carry it the same way, it sure does seem like the gonverment has taken away rights to defend themselves.

>You didn't check the pdf at all, did you. It's a copy of the California gun laws.

I don't need to check some pdf. I know the gun laws. There is no 'permit' in California.
