I agree. An 80% reduction is nothing to complain about. It's not over though. The remaining injuries and deaths are still too many.

I did enjoy Obama's skirting the issue about the surge on CBS news with Katie Couric. She questioned him 4 times. It was pretty funny. I'll give her credit for persistence. As to the 2 journalists, it was caught on tape at a few of his stops and CBS showed the film (of course showing the footage of the many many journalists at all of Obama's stops for balance :o) In my opinion, it is all about ratings (Obama brings in the viewers) and NOT about journalism. Ratings bring in advertising dollars. Hey, but that's Capitalism with a big 'C' right?
