I thought y'all might enjoy seeing some of our local thugs. I got roped into doing a local radio show last fall, when I sent the radio host some information on how bad the situation is. He conned me into doing a 5 minute radio spot each week, because nobody else can get to the data like I do, at least nobody has stepped forward. If they do, I'll gladly relinquish this because it is time consuming, and I'm starting to think the judges and other politicians think it's all a game. Here are some fast facts:

140 people who have been arrested 100 times or more.

Number 1 person on the leaderboard is now deceased - Larry Wayne West (I went to the same school, he didn't go to) 449 arrests
New number 1 is stuck down around 305 arrests - Willie Hooker.

Over 52,000 people have been arrested between 6 and 15 times in Shelby County over the past 25 years.

When a person is physically arrested, they are booked and their fingerprints are taken. They are assigned an RNI (records and identifications) number which is linked to their fingerprints. The RNI number is an incremental number that started at 1 back in 1982 and today is over 383,000. Compare that with these cities:

Tulsa city Oklahoma 382,872
Honolulu CDP Hawaii 377,357
Minneapolis city Minnesota 372,833
Colorado Springs city Colorado 372,437
Arlington city Texas 367,197
Wichita city Kansas 357,698
Raleigh city N Carolina 356,321
St. Louis city Missouri 347,181
Santa Ana city California 340,024
Anaheim city California 334,425
Tampa city Florida 332,888
Cincinnati city Ohio 332,252
Pittsburgh city PA 312,819
