That's weird. I can reproduce this bug on multiple computers. I must not be describing the process well enough.

I can open VFP and from the command window type: modify report report1
report1 pops up and then I change focus back to the command window, leaving report1 open in the report designer
from the command window I type modify report report2
Now report2 shows up in the report designer and I have report1 and report2 side by side
Now I make a subtle change in report 2 like changing the position of a control by 1 pixel to the left or right.
Now I change the focus back report1 leaving report2 open
Now I close report1 which leaves only report2 open
Now I close or try to save report2 and "File is Not Open." pops up and now I can't do anything in Foxpro and have to end task VFP.



I can't imagine what would be different on my side if you can't reproduce. I can get both my desktop computer and my laptop to bonk following these steps!

I run into this bug fairly frequently because I'm often copying multiple report objects from one report to another and then BONK, now the 20 minutes I've spent working on report2 are Lost!
