Some time last year I had to convert a project from 7 to 9 (not 7 of 9, mind you ;), and since there weren't other concerns (didn't have too many SQL statements with Group By clauses), this was the issue that required most attention. Not too much work, though - instead of checking for _tally=0, I had to check for isnull(aResult[1]). Just fire up Code References to search for "into array". It'll find the really grouped ones too, but that's still just a couple of seconds to dismiss.
