I have been involved in a project a few years ago where the client wanted to send SOAP messages at the low level format. This is what you are doing I believe. But, since then, I have been using .NET and its Web Service technology. So, I never was involved again in SOAP low level. Maybe if you can post some code and tell us exactly what you are trying to achieve that someone could help you.
