When the golden visit the troops, it is often like that. They schedule meetings and events and at some locations, they may only meet with leaders which gives the appearance to troops of being 'snubbed.' I know, I've been there myself. Then the golden move on to the next stop and at that stop they may focus entirely on the troops... It is perhaps a matter of schedule and not anything else but also explains the discrepancy of views among the soldiers.

>Yes it looks like the author of the letter didn't realise his wife would forward it with his full contact details still attached. So he's in the s__t and I'd have to say it serves him right.

>Whatever you think aboutObama I can't believe his campaign would be badly managed enough to give that sort of opportunity to his opposition.
>Though politicians sometimes don't like being associated with injured soldiers. Under Thatcher injured veterans of the Falklands where excluded from the victory celebrations.

>>Hmm, my bad. I should have checked snopes. I guess since Marshall is ex military, and he said it came from his friend. . . Oh well, my bad. I'll sent this to my bud. Even so, didn't Obama just blow off a visit to the injured soldiers?
