Charles, I know some people went to LAMP and never looked back. But in 2008 some of the strongest growth action seems to be for phone app development. Perhaps some of the old-timers went there to enjoy one more bleeding-edge-get-there-first-and-make-big-bucks rush. ;-) FWIW there are some astonishing phones coming out of China with dual sim, TV, wifi and lots of other cool stuff just crying out for apps.
