>>I think many Americans are waking up to the fact that they voted for change in 2006 and swept the democrats to a majority in both houses. Now, we have a terrible economy and gas prices are through the roof. Time to do a 180.
>
>So can you sum up the things the dems have done to get in the current situation? Do you think that a mere 2 years is enough to draw that conclusion. So what are the awfull things the dems have done above what the GOP has done the last 8 years:
>- The war in iraq that started on false grounds.

Voted for by both parties - try again.

>- The huge trade deficit (if china stops financing the US trade deficit you're already broke)

Democrats policies and not allowing us to drill for oil offshore, caused gas prices to go ballistic. Bush's rescinding the presidential order disallowing drilling has had a positive impact of gas prices. Now the dems need to pass a law to allow it, and watch the price of gas fall.

>- The financial crisis

That was the neo-robber barrons and the demo party forcing banks to make loans to people who had bad credit. Gee, this is fun. Kinda cathartic, in a way.

>- The worsening of forreign relations with the rest of the world

What rest of the world? Like we care.

>- New orleans

Oh, you mean the plac where the mayor ray noggin head wouldn't help his people leave by using all the buses? Or where the governor was also playing politics (note - she is no longer the governor - they have a REPUBLICAN)

>- A president with the IQ of a peanut.
Yeah, he's so stupid, he just beat the dems for two presidencies! Hahahaa, gimme a break.

>- 1% of your population imprisoned.

If they didn't commit crimes, they wouldn't be imprisoned. How about we send some of them to your country. I'd volunteer the sex offenders, and from what I've heard, they would be accepted with open . . . arms?

>Yeah I can really see americans wanting to go back to the republicans.

Me too, ah those halcyon days!<g>
