I link vfp to word docs and have users edit it in MS Word.
since vfp keeps on going i don't know when the user actually did his thinng and closed the doc.

I am trying to create a prg to try to open the doc and get the content out of it to store some stuff in data fields.
But I get the word dialog hidden (invisble too) [switch to retry cancel] which hangs the computer

how can I know a word doc is not used
