Back in 1979 there was a video and recording of a New Zealand Airline meeting a UFO and the video and recording made it to the U.S. and Walter Cronkite did the segment on the evening news (September 21st I think). I loved his exit that night on the news...

>>>But I like astronomy and I watch the sky a lot and I've never seen anything. Remember in space there's no scale so a piece of duct tape or insulation 20 metres away could look like anything.

>>>John Glenn did a nice scene on Frasier about it.

>I think you've mentioned this before. But I can't remember. What did you see and what was the context ?

When I was 11 years old, my mother was working outside in the yard and called to my brother and I am to come outside quickly. We ran outside and my mother pointed to a field approximately 150 yards from our house. About 100 yards above the field, there was hovering a large, cigar-shaped object. The object appeared to be spinning around as it hovered. It was dark grey in color. We were fascinated and continued to watch it just hover in the same spot until it suddenly shot straight up through the sky and disappeared. It was huge, larger than the Goodyear blimp and made a humming sound.
