Pertti,
Given that smartphone adoption is not very high yet (some 20+% of U.S. phones), you may need to wait for a few years until the adoption rates are sufficiently high to justify the effort and expense of creating web apps.Apparently there are now >650 million cellphone users in China where smartphone clones of the iPhone apparently cost around $100. Some authorities predict that China will start to drive a lot more of IT's direction as prosperity continues to increase.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
