Yes. For instance my natural inclination is to the left. But the left has a worse record for interfering in individual civil liberties. Labour want to introduce ID cards and I am very against that. The Tories are (I think) at the moment against it.
Mt children where home schooled and labour talk about making that illegal. But the trouble is you only get one vote.
