its interesting to note that the only time NASA ever put a living thing more than 400 miles off the earth's surface.. Nixon was president.
and when they accomplished that .. they took a 500,000 mile return trip with a single rocket...

that amazing 60s technology combined with the frontier mentality can really make a big difference.

The longer they take to put another living thing even 400 or more miles out (since 1973 and Apollo being scrapped by Ford)....
the more fake the Apollo moon landings appear to be...
