Rewarding Republicans for the last 8 years would be worse, in my opinion. There are conservatives (true conservatives) that are trying to regain control of the party. I hope they succeed. I think they had a wonderful chance with both houses of Congress and the White House to stand for just what they campaigned on, but I don't believe they did.
