But wouldn't it be nice if VFP Help *told* us exactly how it is designed to work??!!

And wouldn't it also be nice if that same Help said a few words about the effect of UNLOCK / FLUSH / etc. on BUFFERED tables?!?!

So much missing from Help, and usually no fail-safe way to confirm an actual behaviour to 100% certainty!
