Sergey,

I appreciate your help. I'm a little stumped. I'm using the promatrix framework, in addition to creating the index I created a list that can be executed from the toolbar. It's actually part of the framework for browsing records. In the list I created a calculated field.... mdy(datetime). I looked on the promatrix newsgroup for some answers but didn't find anything. It's probably not too far fetched to believe this routine would be creating some sort of index on the datetime using MDY, much like the TTOC example that was explained in this original thread. I removed all of the indexes on this field in addition to this calculated list, and it's been running for 2 days without errors. I don't expect a promatrix answer as you're probably not familiar with it. I'm just expressing my thoughts :-)

Thanks for the help,

Chris
