>>>Hi all,

>>I've been running Vista since the first day it was RTM, and I have REALLY REALLY tried to like it.

>>I finally gave up. I really despise it. It makes so many thing a pain in the a$$ that it isn't worth it at all (and we get it free).

>Why would you give anyone that advice based on your experience? I have been running Vista on 3 machines and my laptop since it RTM'd. I love it, you couldn't pay me to go back to XP. I use both the 32 bit and 64 bit editions.
Because UAC fights me constantly. If I log in as the administrator on my machine, I'M THE ADMINISTRATOR!! If I want to do something on the machine, I do NOT want to have to confirm multiple times that I want to do something.
