Tom's family had a trust that his aunts ran. One thing they did was give scholarships to Native American kids. He came to Utah once to meeting with the tribal leaders and stayed at my place. I actually saw him wear dress shoes to go to the meeting.

>I didn't know it until after I met him, but Tom only lived 30 miles from me (he lived in Novato, I lived in Napa). So, I frequently went over to his house and we'd go out to dinner and go back to his place to watch his taped TV shows afterward. He taped all the Survivor shows and The West Wing ... those were his favorites, so of course I had to watch them with him. I think he was sad to see me go when I moved up to Washington. I still miss him. =0(
