As with many things in life, a fine balance needs to be struck.
For example, if we switch to biofuels we may find:
- CO2 reduction is not as much as expected
- crop prices rise and millions of people starve
This would be unconscionable if we aren't 100% sure global warming is real, and that it's man-made.
