When the member status change, I need to record the date and reason. Would it be wise to use a Memo (appending info everytime there's a change in status) or use a table (adding new records)? Since I rarely use memo type fields, are they often prone to corruption?

Generally speaking, table would be better, not because of corruption, but just imagine if you want to run some query, i.e. some historical report: e.g. status statistics one year back.
