I saw him at German DevCon a few years ago. At that time he was living in London.

Last time we saw him, he had been talking about some big trip/cruise kind of thing he wanted to do, like to the Aegean or the Caribbean or someplace like that, and he was inviting a lot of people to go along with him, us included. I don't think I've seen him since (of course, we haven't been frequenting the VFP conferences since 2002 I think).
