I never received that message before. SQL Server returns:

"Transaction (Process ID 54) was deadlocked on lock | communication buffer resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction."

This happens on a specific SQL that has been running ok for months. It just happened once. The application works ok as usual.

What does that mean anyway? And, is there a way to avoid that?
