Just three for me that I remember. One was after shooting a nail from a power nail gun into my thumb on a college job one summer. (Honest explanation: I looked away from nailing pallets for a split second to watch a good looking woman walk by, and there you go. She was the one who rushed over and said Don't try to take the glove off, you need to go to the ER. I wish I could conclude this side story with a rousing revelation that she was a sexy doctor who nursed me to health etc. but alas that would be untrue. A coworker took me to the ER, I was unnailed, and I never saw her again). The other two were dog bites.
