VFP 6.0 sounds ideal for a suite of business-level applications because you can centralize common business rules into one or more business objects, behavior into standard visual classes, et al. Common entry point, RAD through good upfront planning and analysis: I think this is a good opportunity to learn for Mark or whomever Mark hires to do this job.
Of course, I'm preaching to the choir here, eh? :-)
