>I've been using VFP for quite some time now and I'm starting to learn Visual Basic and I'm fascinated with it. Visual Basic can also handle Database like VFP but I found Visual Basic much more powerful. What are the good points of using VFP than VB? or what function can VFP can do that VFP can't? and vice-versa?

If you are writting top down not very data centric applications then VFP and VB are very simmilar.
If you are using an OO framework in VFP you will miss it very much in VB.
Also, VFP's views make data access much easier than all the code you have to write in VB to access data. And, the rumor is that VFP views will support ADO in a future Service Pack, so you won't have to code them by hand.
Of course, VB can do things that VFP can't like create an Active-X control.
They are both very powerfull tools to have in your toolbox, along with Visual Interdev, Visual J++, Visual C++... Hence the advantage of being a 'Visual Studio' programmer as opposed to a VFP or VB programmer.
As Stanley says, 'The right tool, for the right job!'
