Yes it seems fine for me.
As I understand it they respond very quickly to customer input and make mods/enhancements to existing s/w. But there is new s/w to write, new areas to develop, etc. Each developer needs to spend c 1 day a week on phone support. I'm quite happy with that and have a lot of exp from my last job (a change is as good as a rest)
Horsham is c 23.5 miles NNW of Brighton, mainly on the fast road to London, then rural(ish) fast roads. Should take c 0.5 hrs each way and there's flexitime.
>Seems like a good position if you want to move into .Net development. Just make sure that you don't stuck in purely support role.

>>Thanks Sergey. Sorry, i forgot, I hadn't made a general thread about this but at least some knew I was going after a job. This is the not the EPOS job though:

Visual FoxPro Software Developer required for a position with a software company in Horsham, West Sussex. The successful candidate must have proven commercial experience using Visual FoxPro (VFP), and ideally have a strong knowledge of MSSQL, VB and C#.Net. The role will involve supporting existing software programmes whilst also working on new developments, with you being actively involved in the entire development lifecycle, through delivery to support.>>
>>All bread and butter to me.

>>They do stock control, sales ledger, PO, etc. Most of their s/w is in VFP but the idea is to be porting to C#.net over the next few years, so good prospects for keeping up with tech devs
