I spoke with a friend of mine who was there during much of this recently. It got me to thinking how history keeps repeating itself. Not much news on the Canadians and Belgian and Italian forces recently - I guess they were forgiven by the world?

And then we have General Lewis Mackenzie in Bosnia, is the investigation over?

I realize that those incidents were not common practice (just as abuses by the U.S. are not common practice), but it does seem to be a recurring theme over the years. Concerning.
