That's the price one pays for using the twit filter. It is not a reason to eliminate it.
There are people here I wouldn't mind twitting. I've chosen not to because they either raise interesting questions or give useful technical information. But I can certainly understand people willing to give up that information in return for their perceived value of the filter.
