These are different things.
Basically here is a logical choice - do we want to have people hurt in UT or we prefer to live by the attitude that we're not caring about the other people problems/reactions.
In my opinion, we should not have given this opportunity in the first place. Since it potentially can lead to a harm, there should not be such an option.
I'm a bit tired right now (full day of work), so these are the quick arguments I can come up for.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
