Hi all

A few of days back my wife was reading her email and opening the video attachments in VLC player. After a couple of them something happened and without any messages Windows went silent, since then. My son on the same computer (any login) the games do have sound, so the hardware seems to be okay.

Please advise on what might have gone wrong?
