Now you tell me... but well, we already got what we wanted. And, besides, you just prove my point. Out of the top 18 shops featured on that page (above the green stars line), only
http://www.contempoconcepts.com/ and
http://www.simplicitysofas.com/collections/ are not displaying any of the faux classeecks on their front pages. Every other shop is trying to sell carved wood, bulky armchairs (with plastic balls in casters, of course - high five for style) and all other kinds of "we want your house to look as if it's XVII century and you have servants" kitsch. May be nice for a museum, may be necessary to keep your 40 room, 200 year old mansion in style with its history, may even be a must if you're a lawyer trying to impress the suc...cux... customers. But somehow looks sadly out of context, like a cowboy with an ipod, in reverse.
